SINGER/SONGWRITER FRED NEWMAN COMPOSER FOR THEATRE AND FILM
BACK TO BABYLON
After the huge success of Fred and Uwe playing four songs at Sing-In' Babylon, a charming songwriter night in Fürth, we return to the place with the full band on March 21st to check if the place will explode when we play "The Inflated Fire"!
All those who missed the great Blue Note gig and all those who were there and just can't get enough, be there!

FRED ON RADIO Z
Fred went to the charming radio station that is Radio Z to promote the Blue Note gig, answer a few questions and also perform live. Have a listen here.

WHAT'S WITH THE FIRE?
If you take a look at the blurry, distorted backgrounds on this website and you've come across some of these images before, somewhere else, you might be familiar with the title "The Inflated Fire", a supposedly brand new record, announced somewhen around February 2009 on Facebook's iLike application. So, now it's October, where is the fracking thing?
Let me just say: It's coming. The state it is in right now is the same state as in March 2009. A couple of vocal re-recordings and an instrumental guest solo are still to be done. And there will be a serious reworking of the title track resulting of an intense jam of the track at a band rehearsal. But the playlist is more or less fixed: Beautiful Dead End Street, The Inflated Fire, To Never Happen, Slice Of Life, Happy Gas, Smoke, Adamant. With some luck an eighth song might creep in on that one, but that's not clear yet.
